Founder Sarah Bristow is a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, a 300 hour certified yoga teacher, and holds a Master of Arts in Teaching. Sarah’s creative approach emphasizes whole body wellness and she helps clients of all ages practice this as a way of life.
An Atlanta native, Sarah returned to her roots in Georgia after spending close to ten years in the mountains of Sun Valley, Idaho. During her time out West, Sarah fully embraced the outdoor lifestyle by spending time hiking, camping, cycling, and running. Since returning to Atlanta, she and her husband have immersed themselves in the Atlanta community and enjoy exploring the South while spending time with their two children.
With close to ten years of teaching experience, Sarah began teaching First Grade at Trinity School in 2012. From the start, she felt compelled to creatively share a healthy and active lifestyle with her students. Beginning with an introduction to movement and breathing techniques, daily routines grew quickly into initiatives such as Fitness Friday and Get Fit Little Bit, all with total participation from her class!
She earned a 95 hour kids yoga certification through Grounded Kids Yoga in 2015 and used her classroom as playground for movement, breathing techniques, and self awareness strategies with her students as a way to complement the academics. This grew into kids yoga classes and workshops outside of school, Mindfulness coaching, and speaking engagements with local schools about the importance of giving our children a foundation such as this as a way to foster confidence, compassion, and awareness.
Her passion for wellness and dedication to her personal practice took her to Emory University where she earned a Health Coaching certificate. It was here that she deepened her understanding of nutrition, food related theories, and holistic wellness practices.
A graduate of Pranic Soul teacher training, Sarah has truly begun to experience the benefits of Mindfulness, Meditation, and Yoga as a way of life. In her classes you will find a taste of it all- the creative side of vinyasa movement, the discipline of Ashtanga, and a taste of Kundalini Yoga and meditation.
