learning every day

 Mrs. Bristow

A fourteen-year student and a graduate of the Lovett School, Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Auburn University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Western Governors University. She has ten years of teaching experience in both public and independent schools, across grade levels in both Elementary and Middle Schools.

She has spent several years managing and growing her own independent tutoring business working with students from Preschool to Middle School. Activities and settings have included one on one, small group, book clubs, math teams, and immersion camps. Lessons are designed and implemented based on individual student needs. Sarah is trained in both Orton Gillingham and Lindamood Belle-Phonics instruction.

Sarah has learned that the best role models lead by example. Inspiring and motivating children, encouraging them during challenging times, and recognizing their achievements are the cornerstones of her work. She firmly believes that laying a strong foundation prepares students for success.
