Benefits of Yoga for Young Athletes
By challenging athletes to connect with their breath through yoga and mindfulness, they will learn to face adversity and manage emotions both on and off the field. Intentional breathing can also help to expand efficient use of oxygen which helps build stamina. Learning to take yoga techniques off the mat and into the world at this age will have long lasting benefits beyond the game.
